This page describes what Saarthi collects, why it needs it, and how to make it go away. It is written to be read, not to be survived.

Owner review needed before launch. The fields marked […] below are the registered entity details. They are deliberately left blank rather than invented: Razorpay onboarding and both app stores check them against your registration. Fill them in, then delete this box.

What we collect

Your birth details — date, time and place
Because a chart cannot be computed without them. This is the only sensitive thing we ask for, and it is asked for once. It is encrypted at rest, and it is never written into a log line or used as part of a cache key.
Your account identity
An email address, or the Google account you chose to sign in with. It exists so your chart is still there when you come back.
Your questions and the answers
So a conversation can continue across sessions, and so you can read a past reading again. You can delete any of it.
Payment records
Order ids, amounts and status. Card and UPI details are handled by Razorpay and are never sent to us or stored by us.

What we do not do

Where it goes

Your chart is computed by our own engine from an astronomical ephemeris. The computed chart — not your raw birth details — is what the language model is shown when it writes an answer. The model is given the numbers as fact and is never given room to invent one.

Data is stored with Google Cloud (Firebase) in the region configured for this project. Payments run through Razorpay. Those are the only two third parties in the path of anything you give us.

How long we keep it

Until you delete it, or until you delete your account, whichever comes first. There is a page for exactly that: delete your account.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of everything we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to erase it. Write to privacy@asksaarthi.com and we will act within 30 days.

Children

Saarthi is for adults. We do not knowingly compute charts for anyone under 18.
